Cala Carbó is at 8 kilometers from Sant Josep de sa Talaia, between Caló de s’Oratge and Cala Truja.
Its name refers to the use that charcoal-burners and woodcutters were doing of the wood of this natural environment. There is still a plant leafy mass.
This inlet of beautiful sea arch shaped is characterized for having small dimensions; bank of golden sand and of average grain; very soft slope; crystaline water; bottom of sand, seaweed and rock that invite to the practice of surface skin-diving and with bottles, as well as for being defended by a rocky headland of modest size.
There are two popular restaurants that serve good food, specially shellfish and paella. Every Sunday they fill with people from Ibiza so is recomended to reserve on advance specially on high summer season.
Only by car, follow the signs from Sant Antoni or Sant Josep, direction Cala Tarida and Cala Vadella. There is limited parking walking shortly from the beach but it can be complicated to find a place. There is no public transport service to the beach.
